Happy Monday morning everyone!
It’s a big day for me - yesterday I became fully trained as a co-active coach.
Out of Hours has always existed to fulfil human potential in any way. It has always been a way to encourage more people to follow their curiosity and creativity, build the life they want, and feel fulfilled before they run out of hours. And now I can offer coaching too.
Side projects are a massive help in creating fulfilment, experimenting and trying new things, and so is coaching: spending time thinking about what you really want and how to get there.
For me, taking this course has been as energising as a surfing or cycling trip might be for someone else - it has energised me, and focused me and made me realise how much impact coaching can have.
I have learnt that both coaching (and being coached) makes you a better employee, a better partner and a better friend. It allows you to ask deeper questions, to be in a non-judgemental space, to become more ambitious, remove mindset blocks and achieve goals.
So what does this mean?
I am offering 1-1 coaching to a very small group of clients to help them move to a work and personal life that feels satisfying to them. I draw on my training with yoga and meditation to offer holistic coaching that sees the whole person, not just the issue.
Coaching can help you:
Launch an idea that feels really important to you (or continue it)
Help you make an important decision
Reduce the volume on the inner critic and step into a new mindset
Get unstuck, re-find your purpose, aliveness, and most powerful self
Simply have a container to talk through something
Make progress on a goal
Get clearer on what life you want to be living
So far, I’ve worked with people in tech, design, freelance, non-profits and starting their own thing
“I walked into the session feeling overwhelmed and at cross roads, but left with a lighter heart about this phase. The questions prompted me to think deeper about the different things I really want out of life and how they make me feel. Really giving me context into why I’ve been feeling so tired and burned out. It got me to think not just as my overwhelmed self but step away and really put myself in different mindsets. This is something I had previously struggled with. Definitely my favourite part of the coaching. You were thoughtful, listening and causally connecting the dots and playing it back to me in the simplest of ways. I left there with next steps on how to prioritise my rest and overcome overwhelm with simple steps even as I navigate a multidimensional life. Thank you again!” - A, Working in tech
“Thanks so much for our session on the weekend. Really felt energised after our chat :) You asked all the right questions, allowing space for me to explore every possible answer and therefore creating steps towards the future I’d like for myself” - J, Working in design
“Thank you so much for the session just now. I know you said to send feedback of what could have gone better but I really don't have anything to suggest! The session was very different from what I thought it would be but so valuable for the areas that I wanted to reflect on. You used pragmatism, empathy and humour in equal measure to support me in identifying key principles and strategies to move forward with my ideas. These will be key for me to pursue this sustainably and keep my values at the heart of the project. Thank you again, it was an amazing experience!” - C, Starting a non-profit

If anything resonates, you can sign up to the waitlist, and organise a 10 minute chat to see if coaching can help you.
I am offering a limited number of very reduced price sessions before the end of the year, so make the decision quick if you want to have some sessions before the year is out!
I really hope to work with you! ❤️
